| Direct | This website | Over 2.5 million pints sold online in a year |
Two and a half million pints, sold online.
That figure — two and a half million pints sold online in a year — is the most interesting number in the whole drinks business, and it is the one nobody talks about.
It means the direct channel is not a novelty gift shop bolted onto a wholesale operation. It is a substantial business in its own right, with much better margins than the supermarket route, and a direct relationship with the person drinking the beer. That is why the subscription and the Order of Hawkstone matter more than another supermarket listing.

What people actually ask.
The two questions this page gets most, answered without a support ticket.
The lager and the pils are brewed with barley grown here. The cider is pressed from British apples, never concentrate. The spirits use British grain but not exclusively our own, and we say which is which on each page.
Yes. At checkout, and again at the door. The driver has no discretion about it and neither do we.
