It is a deliberately odd number. Not seven. Not seven and a half. Seven point one.
That is almost certainly Stripe UK card processing — roughly 1.5 per cent plus twenty pence on domestic cards — folded into a headline figure that nets to a round margin for the platform. Which means it is a considered pricing decision rather than a placeholder, and it tells you the commercials were worked out properly before launch rather than after it.
One number nobody has published
There is no public booking volume, guest count, revenue or GMV figure. The only quantified traction is supply-side — "over 1,300 farms", founder-stated and unaudited — plus around 96,000 Instagram followers. A marketplace can sign 1,300 farms and still process very few bookings, and that supply-versus-demand distinction is the single most important unknown about this venture.
