Turn what you already have into something bookable.
"Farmers already have incredible assets, experiences and expertise. Our goal is to help them unlock more value from what they already have, while making it easier for the public to discover and support British farming." — Wolfe Bentinck.
How it works.
Create a listing in minutes
Land, spaces, animals, food, skills or events. You set the price, the availability and the booking rules.
Upload your compliance documents
Public liability insurance certificate, and whichever of the gas safety, food hygiene, alcohol and animal exhibition documents apply. Nothing goes live until these are in.
Get verified
Identity and age verification, plus a cross-check against the FSA, Companies House and local authority licensing records.
Take bookings and payments
Through Stripe, direct to you, with in-app messaging to the guest.
Pay 7.1% on confirmed bookings
And nothing at all on your first £300.
What you keep.
| You charge | Commission at 7.1% | You receive | Guest pays (inc. 2.5% fee) |
|---|---|---|---|
| £25 | £1.78 | £23.22 | £25.63 |
| £50 | £3.55 | £46.45 | £51.25 |
| £100 | £7.10 | £92.90 | £102.50 |
| £300 (your first) | £0.00 | £300.00 | £307.50 |
| £1,000 | £71.00 | £929.00 | £1,025.00 |
Why the free £300 is the smartest thing in the model.
At an average booking of twenty-five to fifty pounds a head, three hundred pounds is roughly six to twelve bookings before a farmer pays a penny.
For somebody who has never sold anything online and is not sure any of this works, that is the difference between "worth a try" and "another thing that will probably cost me money". It is a supply-acquisition device and it explains a good deal of how 1,300 farms signed up in two months.
Insurance is yours, not theirs
You must hold your own public liability insurance and upload the certificate before a listing goes live. The platform does not provide host or guest cover of its own. The minimum cover value it requires is not published; obtaining it means going through host signup or reading the full Farmer Onboarding Agreement.
What it costs, in full.
Commission, fees, cancellations and refunds.
What people actually ask.
The two questions this page gets most, answered without a support ticket.
Seven point one per cent on confirmed bookings, and the first three hundred pounds a farm earns is free. Guests pay a two and a half per cent service fee on top.
Documents first — public liability, gas safety, food hygiene, alcohol and animal exhibition licences where they apply — then identity, then a cross-check against public registers. Without them a listing does not publish.
