Recruiting.
The pub alone employs more than a hundred and forty people. The shop, the brewery and the farm all need people who can actually do things.
The detail.
Most of the work here is real work. Kitchen, bar, shop floor, brewery, and the farm itself. It is not glamorous, some of it is outdoors in February, and all of it is with a team that gets on.
What we look for is straightforward: turn up, do the job properly, tell somebody when it goes wrong. That last one matters more here than almost anywhere, because this entire estate is built on admitting mistakes in public.

What people actually ask.
The two questions this page gets most, answered without a support ticket.
No. This is an unsolicited third-party demonstration build, not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the businesses it describes.
Public filings, published rankings and press reporting, each labelled on the page as a verified record, a founder claim or a third-party estimate.
Where a number here is estimated rather than published, the page says so. We would rather be dull than wrong.
