One diary, because everything competes for the same yard.
Machinery, rooms, days out and driving sessions all sit on the same calendar. There are windows in the year when none of it is available at any price, and this page is mostly about those.
What is bookable, month by month.
Grey is not available. It is not a pricing signal or a scarcity trick — it is drilling, harvest, lambing, or a hedgerow cutting ban.

At its best Available This month, August
The four windows when nothing is available.
| Window | Roughly | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Lambing | Late February to early April | Every pair of hands is in a shed at four in the morning |
| Spring drilling and rolling | March and April, weather dependent | The machines are working and so are we |
| Harvest | Late July to early September | Nothing else happens. Nothing |
| Autumn drilling | Late September to late October | The most weather-dependent window of the four |
| Hedge cutting ban | 1 March to 31 August | A legal restriction, not ours, and it applies to the hedge cutter only |
The next fortnight, across everything.
Everything on one board. A machine and an away-day on the same day is usually possible; two away-days is not, because there are four of us.

This is a demonstration build. Nothing here books anything, no deposit is taken and no card details are collected at any point. Prices are indicative and are published so the arithmetic can be argued with.
Why the diary looks emptier than the demand.
People assume a booking diary with gaps in it means nobody wants the thing. On a farm it usually means the opposite: the gaps are the days we have deliberately not sold, because selling them would mean nobody is doing the farming.
Four people run the shop, the yard, the livestock and everything on this page. A day with twenty-five people on an away-day is a day with two of those four occupied from eight until five, which is why there is never more than one large booking on any given day and why September looks like a wall.
The diary, at a glance.
One diary
Machines, rooms and days out together.
Four closed windows
Lambing, drilling, harvest, drilling again.
One big booking a day
Because there are four of us.
Harvest is a moisture meter
Not a date, and it moves a fortnight either way.
Before you book anything.
Insurance, licences, and the two things we will not host at any price.
What people actually ask.
The two questions this page gets most, answered without a support ticket.
The words are ours. The brands are not, and nothing here is licensed.
The cast page names every person and what they are actually responsible for, which is not always what the programme implies.
