How it works.
There is no fifth step and no tier at which it gets better.
You send one link.

Why referral is the only channel worth much here.
Paid acquisition on a brand with three million Instagram followers is close to pointless. The audience is already there. The problem has never been reach, it has been turning an enormous passive audience into people who have actually bought something.
Referral is the only channel that gets cheaper as it scales rather than more expensive, and it is the only one where the recommendation carries any weight. A person telling a friend about a jam is worth more than any amount of advertising the jam.
Five pounds each is deliberately modest. Make it fifty and you attract people who want fifty pounds, and they do not come back.
Make the incentive fifty pounds and you attract people who want fifty pounds.
