Spring. Drilling spring barley.
The site goes green and pink at one minute past midnight on the first of March, whether or not the weather has agreed to it. Moss is the ground, blossom is the accent, and the illustration set swaps to bare drills, hedges in bud and a great many lambs.
Spring, in four numbers.

What is actually happening on the farm.
Drilling spring barley
Late February into March, ground conditions permitting, and they frequently do not.
Lambing
Three weeks in the barn that are the single most compelling thing on this farm, and the least sleep anybody gets.
Rolling and harrowing
To press the stones down and the seedbed together.
First nitrogen
On the winter crops, timed against growth stage rather than the calendar.
Hedges go untouched
Cutting is prohibited between 1 March and 31 August. That is a legal date, not a preference.
The state, side by side with the other three.

The illustration set.
Every scene plate on this site is printed six times — reseeded land, re-inked sky, the subject nudged — and the spring set is the one that comes forward for these three months.
Which of the six a given page gets is decided by the page path rather than at random, so a card thumbnail and the hero it links to always show the same plate, but twelve pages sitting in one grid show twelve different pictures.
Plotting flips to "In the ground" and the plot pages start showing drill dates.

No TTL
The season is the clock. It cannot go stale.
Two tokens move
--season and --season-2. Nothing else.
Nothing depends on it
No price, no availability, no legal text.
