Why this partnership works.
Emma Bridgewater has been making pottery in Stoke-on-Trent since 1985, in a factory that still decorates by hand with sponges. It is a genuinely British manufacturing operation of the kind this country keeps being told it no longer has.
The four mugs — There Will Be Mud, Farmerish, Cow Juice and Endgame Bull — are the result. The Cow Juice mug alone has sixty reviews, which is more than any food line in the shop and considerably more than we expected from a mug.
