Wheat, then oilseed rape, then the spring barley, then whatever is left and the weather it is left in.

Which is where the live yield figure in the ticker actually comes from, and it is the only feed on this site that is genuinely interesting to watch.

Every scene plate on this site is printed six times — reseeded land, re-inked sky, the subject nudged — and the autumn set is the one that comes forward for these three months.
