The newest parish on the register and the one growing fastest. Two hundred members in the first month, on a landscape most people drive through without noticing.

The Lincolnshire Wolds and the East Riding — Louth across to Driffield. The boundary follows the landscape rather than the county line, which is why it looks wrong on an administrative map and right on a soil one.
It meets third Thursday of the month, 7pm. A grain store office outside Louth, where there is a permanent and unresolved shortage of chairs.
Andrew Kell is the warden. Six hundred arable acres, does his own agronomy, and says so with some pride. The wardenship is unpaid, was not appointed by us, and can only be ended by the parish itself.

Eleven of us grew the same two varieties and told each other the truth about the yields. I have farmed here thirty years and never had that.
I read the minutes, I have used the lending list twice and I have never been to a meet. Nobody has ever made me feel odd about that.
