Most farming happens unobserved, which means most farming mistakes are corrected quietly and never mentioned again. Doing it on camera removes that option entirely.
The episode is about the specific pressure of that — the drill date argument, the machinery decisions, the times being right was less useful than being agreeable — and about the difference between being wrong and being made to look wrong.
It is the most-listened episode of the eight by a considerable margin, which surprised nobody except the person who recorded it.
